The Banners of War

While House Kimura's forces were experiencing growth, they weren't the sole ones doing so. The neighboring factions swiftly took notice of the Obsidian Order, becoming rapidly incensed by House Kimura's escalating influence. Despite the Head of House Kimura's diplomatic efforts, the surrounding neighbors remained displeased, failing to recognize that the Order was also committed to providing aid to both their neighbors and their own people.

Initially, conflicts manifested at the territorial boundaries, with House Kimura's neighbors insisting that the Order disband or assimilate into another army. Each neighbor sought a share of the Order, unwilling to cede control entirely to the others. However, the Obsidian Order remained steadfast in honoring their oath, repelling the invading armies of neighboring factions.

With Commander Hedran stationed on one side of Kimura's territory and Thane Stea on the other, the Order found itself divided and weakened in the face of each battle. The war unfolded on three fronts, with spies and assassins persistently attempting to reach the head of House Kimura. Fortunately, a select few of the Order's best guards had been left behind to protect the family, going as far as tasting food before it reached the table.
As time progressed, each battle exacted its toll on the Order, depleting supplies and diminishing their numbers. Despite dwindling resources and hunger, the Order consistently found the strength to charge forward, leaving no prisoners behind and becoming renowned as the War Hounds. Word began to spread about the Order, with rumors circulating that they thrived on battle, leaving only their unwanted scraps in their wake.
